This is not your everyday Paranormal Activity.

The Paranormal Activity movies are undoubtedly a phenomenon, but they look like a real drag to make. Every single film is exactly the same – introduce some characters, shoot 85 minutes of nothing happening in a corridor, or in a kitchen, or next to a swimming pool. Next year, Blum is releasing Dark Skies, which is about as far away from Paranormal Activity as you can get. It’s not even a horror film – instead, it’s a sci-fi movie all about an alien invasion.
