Yeah, the 3D version sure is good.
When the kids were little, Monsters Inc was one of their absolute favorite movies. I’ll even admit that I loved it too! Who could resist cute little Boo and her furry {and not so furry} monster friends? Not I! When I first heard that they were rolling out a 3D version of Monsters Inc, I was stoked.
See, The Man just had to get this 3D TV a few months ago and I’ve been cursing him ever since. I just didn’t get why we needed one or the expense, because they sure aren’t cheap! After watching Monsters Inc 3D, I now know – and have stopped giving him such a hard time. More here
I had a suspicion that humans were highly toxic.
Sulley (John Goodman) and Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) are two gleeful monsters who work to collect children’s screams to power the town of Monstropolis. Each unique, animal-inspired beastie is assigned to a child and given access to the child’s bedroom door.
Superb at their job, the tables turn on Sulley and Mike Wazowski when Boo (Mary Gibbs), a darling little tyke who communicates with adorable squawks and mumbles, toddles into the monster factory.
Having been taught that humans are highly toxic if touched by a monster, Sulley worries about the girl’s fate if she’s caught by the Child Detection Agency, a team of faceless workers who trample around in haz-mat suits carrying high-powered vacuums. More here
