Nicki in Dubai, Flaunting her look and then some.
Pink wigs seemed to be the trend of the day with many sporting the now famous short bob. However, Minaj opened the show as a blonde with a pink curly haired one emerging later.
Her usually controversial clothing was toned down, Minaj even wore a vest under a particularly busty outfit — we wonder if it was out of respect for cultural sensitivities or she was just feeling chilly. More
with 2Chainz and Sean Kingston That must have been agood show
Those special nuggets included a guest spot from rapper 2 Chainz (who also opened the show) on the hard-hitting “Beez in the Trap” plus surprise verses from Sean Kingston (for the Rasta-toned “Letting Go”) and Young Money star Tyga as part of the finale.
Though that “Rack City” rhymer’s delivery on “Roger That” and “Bedrock” – along with quick snippets of his own tracks, “Faded” and “Make It Nasty” – ultimately gave the show a powerful thrust before Minaj’s galvanizing closer, “Super Bass,” all these last-minute extras also caused as much clutter as cool. Star guests added gusto in the moment, but they didn’t make sense within the bigger picture, often halting fluidity. More Here
Nicki Does London with TYGA
including her 02 concert with American rapper TYGA and British singer/songwriter Misha B.
It’s been a whirlwind for the 29-year-old Trinidadian-born American rapper. Her debut album “Pink Friday” was released in November, 2010 and in 2011 she scored the most charted singles by any female rap album in Billboard history. She was the first artist to have seven singles on the Billboard HOT 100 chart simultaneously. More Here
Nicki Down under and Well Oiled
A well-oiled machine featuring an everchanging set complete with staircases, fireman’s poles, backup dancers and even a bathtub, the Superbass hitmaker had such a swagger and intensity on stage – it was hard not to be pulled into her world.
Did it on Em and Beez in Da Trap highlighted a night of lightning fast raps that were matched only by her onstage moves but it was the hits Va Va Voom and Superbass that had the screaming crowd reaching boiling point. More here
