exceptionally cool. Although, they do rely heavily on our pre-digested knowledge of the film, rather than carry the weight of introducing the film to fresh eyes.

i have been collecting movie posters since i was a kid .i am now 47.so i grew up with the great 60s and 70S movie posters.i have seen the same posters for the past 30 years.these posters bring a new excitement to movie poster collecting and especially they are all movies i love.not since i found a one sheet of the hammer film "THE LOST CONTINENT" at a flea market back in the early 70s for $2.00 have i been this excited about movies posters.these posters make me feel like a kid again and bring back the great visuals of the classic posters.just to sit a stare at these posters hanging on a wall is pure entertainment...

Yet another reason I love Alamo Drafthouse -- I'm just utterly crushed I don't live in Austin anymore, because it means I miss both the awesome shows there PLUS the amazing art they commission. Though I love some of the examples you've put up, I can't believe you left out Stout's Inglourious Basterds print. I'm a fan of anything he does, and that Ken Taylor print is amazing too.

I actually like them and i think it isn't sacrilige its paying homage to a classic film that the artist enjoyed. i really liked the pulp fiction and dirty dozen ones. I think people need to stp being so uptight and just let artist make art.
