U2′s 2005 Vertigo Tour went Worldwide.

The Irish Band commenced the tour in support of their “How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb”

album which released in 2004.

U2 played stadiums around the world on this tour. The Vertigo tour ran throughout 2005 and 2006.

~

Amazingly the 2005 gross for the Vertigo tour was $260 Million dollars. Wow! When

the tour finished U2 had played to 4.6 million people and take in 390 million dollars.

There three separate videos released of concerts on the tour. U2 Live From Milan, U2 3D

and U2 Live from Chicago.

This was an historic tour that really cemented U2 as one of the all time great touring rock bands.
