As soon as they got situated, the sample track for “Apocryphon” began to play. The electronic sounds caught me off guard, because I was not expecting it so early on, but it proved a great opener. The band instantly had a swagger about them as they ripped into the song and proceeded to rock out on the lengthy intro, and that was something that stayed with them for the duration of the show. It may not be as heavy as some of their other stuff, but it really was a great opener.
Hey Ithacan, Familiar sounds , okay but they still rock,
“Everything is all the time / All around you the points align / Everything is all the time.” Singer J.D. Cronise provides a solid performance on every track, especially on “Execrator.” On this track, his quick and repeated shouts accompany the fast timing of Kyle Shutt’s guitar and create a song that would fit into an action movie fight scene. 1) Are the Sword posters all from the Portland, OR shows as indicated in the pix? (that’s what I’m looking for)
2) Are they unfolded and going to be shipped flat or in a tube?
